Fall!

http://en.wikipedia.org/, John Everett Millais, "Autumn Leaves".

Last Wednesday was the first day of Fall. Another Fall has come and another school year has started. We decided to take golf classes but unfortunately, the classes were full. Now we are going to look into dance classes. At the same time, I am going to start studying for GRE and see what options are there.

Workwise, I am feeling more confident about the decisions I make and my boss thankfully backs me up and teaches me when I need to put my foot down and when to let go! A sentence that has been said many time so far from different people that is useful in a variety aspects of life is that "you have to pick your battles". We are not the winners all the time however when the consequence of not turning the table in our favor is too grave, we should defend what we believe in and is dear to us like our fundamentals.

I am getting close to 30 and that scares me! I don't feel I have accomplished two major things that I wanted to do before 30 and those are getting my masters and getting pregnant. I have accomplished a lot though, in my career and what I wanted in my relationships. But I still feel, I am missing on some things.

Anyways, last weekend was great, because we got to do a Fall house cleaning and have Pishi's friends over for dinner and playing Mafia!

The week before that we went to one of Pishi's friend's wedding celebration where I met his supervisor, a noble prize winner in chemistry. I had the opportunity to talk to him a bit and it seemed so unreal! The next day, I went to Christine's bridal shower, which was great, I enjoyed it a lot but the news about my other friend and her losing her baby was a shock!

October is coming our way and I want to invite another group of our friends over, I was hoping at the same time to take a course but I think I need to wait until winter to be more stable at my job!
